Working principle of circuit breaker L2:

The overload protector (switch) protects the compressor through temperature and current detection. It consists of a group of normally closed contacts and bimetallic elements. Over-current protection is installed outside the compressor, in direct contact with the compressor case, and connected in series with the compressor winding. If the compressor cannot be started for some reason, the overload locking current will cause the bimetallic element to flash and bend quickly, which will lead to the quick withdrawal of the contact, cut off the current flowing through the compressor and protect the compressor. Similarly, if the compressor motor is abnormally heated and the compressor winding temperature is too high, the protector will heat up and exit to protect the compressor. As long as the cause of the fault is not eliminated, the compressor will repeatedly start and stop the function of bimetallic elements under overload and current.
